Old School Miniatures- The Ettin and Hornet, Robots of the Future!
54These crazy looking robots were originally a kickstarter project by Old School Miniatures. They had a lot of funk and charm to them, and I couldn't resist.
They're massive hunks of resin. You've all been warned- they'll require a good amount of cleaning.
I did appreciate having a variety of optional weapons available to them, and they match up with a lot of typical 40k load outs. Speaking of which, given the size of these guys, you could probably get away with using them in just about any scale, be it epic or regular sized space warfare battles. I think that's part of the charm.
You really don't see robots like this any more- I get it's not a style everyone is fond of, but I've always been drawn to retro- futuristic designs wherever they may be.
