Clay Cyanide Miniatures: Tsukuyomi, God of the Moon!
Recently Clay Cyanide Miniatures did a set of Japanese deities which was a subject we don't often see represented often on the tabletop, especially when compared to the pantheons of Greek and Norse figures (which Clay Cyanide have done nice versions of as well if you're interested).
Tsukuyomi was the first I wanted to try printing as he was visually very striking with his elaborate base, moon emblem, and larger than life persona floating above whatever puny mortals you place upon the table.
While I had a few weird printing errors on my end, for the most part he was a simple straightforward build. The notches in his moon help lodge everything in to place as I'd somewhat suspected.
I'm thinking he'd be a good end boss type mage or wizard. Heck, use him as the avatar of whatever deity your cleric is into. Or as a statue for a themed shrine. Shrink him down a bit and use him as an actual human?
I'm thinking he'll get plenty of blues, purples, and white paints involved in painting him. Hopefully Amaterasu won't be too far behind!
