0Back with another demo! So this game is actually out today, but that's okay, I still wanted to check it out. I've had the demo in my library for some time now so I thought it was about time I tried it out.
And I like it! This is a game developed by Skeleton Crew Studio & published by Devolver Digital (Enter the Gungeon), and follows the tale of Faraday, a man stranded and captured on an island. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he must escape the island and return to his homeland.
Through adventurous exploration, narration and razor sharp combat, the player will discover a strange world and its inhabitants, including Olija, an enigmatic lady that Faraday finds himself bound to over time. Inspired by swashbuckling tales and cinematic adventure games, Olija is a story about facing the unknown in adversity.
Really liked the demo, combat feels very nice, and the mechanics with the spear are pretty darn cool too. Story is intriguing, obviously don't know too much about it, it's just a demo, but still intriguing! Love the visuals too, pixel art is always awesome, and the music sounds nice too!
Definitely adding this to my wishlist. Hope you guys enjoyed the video, more demos to come soon too by the way!
