0Laurels in your soup enhances it's aroma. West of Jova,there's a Ferryman. If you talk to him with Dracula's Heart equipped,he'll bring you to the 3rd Dungeon/Mansion of the game,Brahm's Mansion. From the Oak Stake NPC,you're close to the end of the area. This place actually has a Boss though believe it or not. It's Death himself! He's a complete wimp compared to his battle in Castlevania 1. You can even just ignore him if you want to! If you do defeat him,you'll obtain the Gold Dagger subweapon. It's as strong as the Flame Whip,but costs 2 Hearts with each use. Destroy the Orb at the end to prosses Dracula's Eyeball. When equipped,you can read the hidden Dracula Hints when you find them. Once done,we trek back through the poisonous marsh to the East to heal up at Jova's Church. We then go back West and have the Ferryman take us to the next town,Aldra. We end up just passing through though. Continuing West takes us to the town of Oldon. After waiting for daytime,we find a Merchant who sells us the Morning Star Whip for 200 Hearts! Heading back to Aldra,we find one of the only male NPC's there,and he'll trade you the Red Crystal for your Blue Crystal. This is needed for the dead end at Deborah Cliff,where the notoriously cryptic whirlwind will appear and teleport you to a new area. We also ended up obtaining the Flame Whip,our most powerful weapon!
