0Released for the Playstation 1 in 2001. Developed and published by Konami. Port of the Sharp X68000 home computer version,which was Japan only. Basically another remake of Castlevania 1,featuring Simon Belmont. The 2 main modes here are Original and Arrange mode. The former has the original music and the difficulty scaling to the stage itself. This means all enemies deal the same damage in a level. Arrange Mode has remixed music and damage scales to the enemies rather than the level itself. An example would be an Axe Knight hitting harder than a Bat. Simon also has pink hair in Arrange mode for,reasons. I played through a couple stages on both modes here. The stage 3 remix of Wicked Child is so weird,but I really like it.
