Released for the Playstation 1 in 1999. Developed by DreamFactory and published by Square. A fighting game that also features characters from Final Fantasy VII. It is based off the Tobal series and could be considered a spinoff of it,both of which feature full 360 degree movement during combat. The fighting game portion is uh...ok I guess? It's not great. The main gimmick is playing as the Final Fantasy characters.. Cloud Tifa and Sephiroth are available from the start, while Yuffie Zack and Vincent are unlockable secret characters. The main draw of the game is Quest Mode, which could have been it's own game! This is a hack n slash mode, where you'll go through randomly generated dungeons and enemies. You play as Clair Andrews and Koji Masuda. If one character gets knocked out,the other has to run over to where they died and recover their soul to rescue them. It's pretty neat!
