Omi's Video Game Vault: Evil Dead Hail to the King
1Released for the Playstation 1 in 2000. Developed by Heavy Iron Studios and published by THQ. A Resident Evil clone,featuring the usual tank controls,limited resources,etc. This game takes place after the Army of Darkness movie. Ash has been taken back to the cabin to try and face his demons. However,his severed hand is still around,and it plays the tape that has the incantation for the Necronomicon,unleashing the Evil and Deadites once more. This game uh...isn't very good unfortunately. The main problem is that enemies respawn indefinitely. In a game where you have to manage your finite amount of resources,dealing with infinite spawns is kind of a big deal. The Chainsaw is cool,I guess. Ash is actually voiced by Bruce Cambell too,and he has a dedicated taunt button.
