So there it is, finally the Austrian Bus Line is now debuted on my channel, it has a weird name to it which is nothing new but it looks sort of ok at least. The route is 23A which I think is the only route that will be shown on this line, there's about 4-5 videos that'll be shown from this bus line with another one to be debuted AGAIN the following week. What I liked was the roads and the actual increase in traffic and cars around the map. The bus that I used has that thing in the middle that bugs me but it looks like it is actually much better to handle now. I was surprised it didn't have the automated feedback for announcements but that's fine, and another thing to look at clearly on this line is the absence of ticket selling. To me I think it's nice when I do these sales because it makes it give a real life scenario where a passenger didn't get a ticket and I'm there to provide it. It kinda looks like the MTA here in NYC where there is no such thing as ticket selling on the bus while you have to refill a card from a machine or clerk on the booth. It seems like both Chicago and Vienna follow the same guidelines when it comes to ticket selling. One major disappointment is the really low drop of FPS on this line, at some places I was getting something like 18 and I was just thinking to myself, why? And there was other areas where it somewhat improved but still that's been the reason OMSI 2 isn't a great simulator because of its game engine that's badly optimized. But I do like that on this map there's a lot of roads and stuff, and it looks like Vienna has trains that run in the streets as well and in the beginning of the video it looked like a blue train that was running from Pantograph technology and it was going pretty much so I did like that and I also saw another train around as well and it kinda reminded me of the LIRR because of the bridge structure and the presence of 3rd Rail. If I'm not mistaken, there's an add-on from OMSI 2 in which you can drive those nice trains and yes I do think I'll show it on my channel as well. Later on will be another upload of the Wien 2 Bus Line and mind you this map says it's from the 2006 line so yea that's far back and I can tell why it looks old. Stay tuned for more updates and keep updated on the my twitter page.
