Something I didn't get into in this video is just how much of an impact a different venue had on me. See, when I first saw Ragnarok I was in a nearly Empty AMC Theater for a Matinee Showing. Sure I paid $6 for my ticket and could grab the best seat in the house, but it felt empty and lonely. The neon spectacle of Sakaar and the orange glow of the Surtur scenes felt hollow.

But when my sister bought me to the local Alamo for my second showing things just came alive for me in a way it just didn't in the AMC. The theater was packed with people and while we had worse seats than what we could have had in a more empty theater, the audience's more positive reactions to scenes I'd watched not even a couple of Day's before made them resonate with me more.

Honestly this just means I should exclusively give Alamo my money for movies going forward. Of course, if I can help it. I'm still upset Dallas didn't get the Warcraft Movie and all the Blood of Manaroth inspired Alcohol I could consume.

This video was mostly inspired by conversations I had at my local comic shop, so here's to you Doc's Comics and Games in Frisco.
