I'm surprised that the original H&D didn't try doing a mission like this. I'm kind of reminded of Conflict: Desert Storm 2 where your squad suffers a similar fate and has to escape with whatever they can scrounge. One thing's for sure, it's gonna be interesting how I'll fare in a map like this carrying literally nothing for my squad.

I'll say though, I'm glad that I don't have to start with pistols for my first workable firearm. Needing to do a 2 step process first before firing unlike regular primaries where I fire the moment I hit the button is a pinch opposite to the whole idea of sidearms being lighter to use than primaries. Machineguns take second throne, needing to prone first, but they're atleast justifiable in that they're huge and would probably be terrible to fire standing.
