0One Hour Of "Ehrgeiz" for the Playstation 1, developed by DreamFactory and released by Squaresoft in 1998 (Japan), 1999 (North America) and 2000 (European Union).
"Ehrgeiz" started out as an Arcade game but was later on portet to the first Playstation and is a quite unique fighting game set in different 3D-Enviroments that features 17 Characters, including 6 from Final Fantasy VII, long before the whole cast of the Final Fantasy Universe got their own fighting game with the "Dissidia"-Franchise".
For the Playstation-Version some unlockable characters like Yuffie and Vincent, also from Final Fantasy VII, have been added exclusively to this version.
It also features a broad variety of minigames such as a beach contest called "Battle Beach" or a puzzle mini game called "Battle Panel" as well as a completly unique new game mode for the Playstation called "Brand New Quest" which is a completely different gamemode, serving as a diablo-like Dungeon Crawler, just with more focus on survival and energy management, for example you have to eat the food you find to stay alive.

"Ehrgeiz" begann als Arcade-Automat, wurde aber später auf die erste Playstation portiert und ist ein recht einzigartiges Prügelspiel, welches in verschiedenen 3D-Umgebungen stattfindet, dass insgesamt 17 Charaktere enthält, darunter 6 aus Final Fantasy VII, lange bevor der der gesamte Cast des Final Fantasy-Universums mit dem "Dissidia"-Franchise sein ganz eigenes Prügelspiel bekommen würde.
Exclusiv für die Playstation-Version wurden unter anderem einige freischaltbare Charaktere wie Yuffie und Vincent, ebenfalls aud Final Fantasy VII, hinzugefügt.
Ebenso enthält das Spiel eine große Anzahl an Minispielen wie zum Beispiel ein Strandwettkampf namens "Battle Beach" oder ein Rätselminispiel namens "Battle Panel" als auch einen für die Playstation eigens entwickelten Modus namens "Brand New Quest", welcher ein komplett anderer Spielmodus ist, der als Diablo-ähnlicher Dungeon Crawler fungiert, nur dass dieser megr Fokus auf Überleben und Energiemanagement legt, so muss man zum Beispiel das Essen, welches man in diesem Modus findet nutzen, um am Leben zu bleiben.
