0One Hour Of "Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator", a very unique Role Playing Game developed by Valkyrie Studios and released by Monolith Productions (NOT Monolith Soft, that's a whole different company!) in 1999 (NA) / 2000 (UK) for Windows.
The games plot follows the story of Maya, a young salvager girl living on the titular planet of Septerra (yup, they existed waaaaay before Rey).
The Gameplay could be considered a kind of mix of old classic CRPG's and early Fallout games, but has its very unique tone and themes to it.
Note: If you are interested in playing this game, there are gog.com as well as Steam versions available on both storefronts, I HEAVILY advice the Steam version, since this one runs way smoother and on my Win10 PC without any hassle, no setup or patching was neccessary, installed and played right off the bat.
The gog.com version has been tinkered with a lot that it often runs with heavy problems on modern systems even with massive patching.
Eine Stunde Gameplay von "Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator", einem sehr einzigartigen Rollenspiel entwickelt von den Valkyrie Studios und veröffentlicht von Monolith Productions (NICHT mit Monolith Soft verwechseln, das ist wieder eine ganz andere Firma!) im Jahre 2000 für Windows.
Die Handlung des Spiels folgt Maya, einer jungen Schrottsammlerin, welche auf dem namensgebenden Planeten Septerra lebt (yup, gab es schon laaaaange vor Rey).
Das Gameplay stellt eine Art Mischung aus alten klassischen CRPG's und frühen Fallout-Spielen dar, bietet dabei aber eine ganz eigene Atmosphäre und Themen.
Hinweis: Wenn ihr am Spielen dieses Spiels interessiert seid, es gibt das Spiel sowohl auf gog.com als auch auf Steam, ich rate aber DRINGEND zur Steam-Version, da diese deutlich flüssiger läuft. Auf meinem Win10 PC läuft das Spiel vällig einwandfrei, keinerlei spezifisches Setup oder Patches waren nötig, einfach installiert und losgespielt.
Wohingegen man bei der gog.com-Version so sehr mit den Files des Spiels verschlimmbessert hat, dass es auf modernen System nur hochproblematisch läuft, selbst mit massivem Patching.
