One More Gate : A Wakfu Legend is a super cool rogue-lite deck-builder that combines exploration and turn-based strategic combat in development. Amazing game, great animation and art with some new twists to the genre. It's a "Roguelite/RPG" hybrid - but if I had to put it into ratios, I would say it currently feels like a 40/60 split, leaning hard into the RPG feel. What I mean - you'll find yourself grinding the same area for a stretch, so you can gain currency to level cards, currency to purchase new cards, or straight XP to level your character. Each run through the Gate, you'll feel a little more powerful & hopefully make it a bit further. I personally really enjoy this aspect, as a big RPG fan, but some may find it too repetitive spamming the same enemies over and over - feeling like they haven't made much progress. It's a beautiful world, full of fun creatures that display a lot of personality. It's easy to learn... from your cards abilities to enemy attacks, you won't have any difficulty figuring out what does what. For me it feels like a Hades game, but it's turn-based.
