Kojima got disturbed by what Takami said that the goal was to crush Tokuchi. He later showed that all batters except the 3rd and 5th are left-handed batters (which are normally used against right-handed pitchers like Tokuchi) and predicted that what Takami probably meant was Tokuchi's stamina.
Kojima's prediction was correct. Takami and other Mariners' batters stalled for time accordingly. They also made Tokuchi throw pitch as many as possible, and hit a grounder to first which forced Tokuchi to run and cover that base. FYI, in pro baseball, the pitcher's also considered as infielder. Tokuchi hasn't ever played in consecutive games before, so he won't be able to handle his loss of stamina.

Then the accident occurred. Tokuchi fainted! But he managed to fight fiercely until the end of 8th inning. Kojima asked Manager Mihara to replace Tokuchi but he said it's not necessary. Ideguchi gave spirit to other Lycaons' players to win for Tokuchi. They were all spirited, of course, but the game went into extra innings due to no score runs for both teams. As Kojima said, Tokuchi's not alone, he has teammates.

Kojima came with the plan. He replaced Kondoh. No doubt that he's the one Manager Mihara can only rely on, and also the local hero. Then, Mariners changed pitcher to Tomosaka without hesitation. When Kojima walked to batter box, Tokuchi said that he won't be able to hit the ball with that right-injured elbow. He even loudly said about Kojima's plan to retire, so Tomosaka could hear it.
He continued that Tomosaka isn't the opponent that Kojima can defeat by using only 80-90% of his strength. He ordered to ask for timeout, then Kojima's right hand got wrapped with bandage, and he said to Kojima that the first pitch will be out-low fastball.
Ideguchi asked how Tokuchi can be so certain that the first pitch will be out-low fastball. Well, Ideguchi got confused with Tokuchi's answer, maybe so did you.
Kojima used closed stance he rarely used. The catcher ordered Tomosaka to use in-high fastball, then Tomosaka threw the first pitch, but as Tokuchi said, the first pitch is the out-low fastball, and HOME RUN! Kojima made walk-off HOME RUN! Again, Lycaons won both games in the bottom of final inning.
Ideguchi wondered how, then Tokuchi explained that there was an experiment, where an ace shooter fired 50 shots at the target with a radius of 10cm, and all his shots hit the target. Then, a vase worth of hundreds of millions was put a meter away from the target. Ideguchi said that the result will be same, but he was wrong, the resulting shots were on average 7cm off to the side.
Kojima's bandage-wrapped elbow was like vase to Tomosaka. Well, Tomosaka was afraid that his pitch would end Kojima's career, like no one wants to damage a vase worth hundreds of millions. In short, this was to give psychological pressure on Tomosaka, and it worked.
Looks like Ideguchi and others have misunderstood the meaning of winning a game. Winning means standing over countless of 'dead bodies', not a pretty thing but really cruel one. Be wild if you want to end to the top. Tokuchi's tentative salary went up to 735 million yen.

Saikawa called Tokuchi, and asked the rate increasing to be 20 times than usual. Well, you already know, all in Saikawa's thought was money. Tokuchi's first pitch is unfortunately a ball, even he gave is first run, that Takami made home run! Later, his pitches were also hit by Tomas and Brooklyn, what a surprise, but...
15:10
Takami felt something suspicious, even surprised to see Tokuchi's grin face. Well, Tokuchi gave 14 runs in first three innings, and Saikawa laughed so hard about it, but he and the secretary didn't realize that he already fell into Tokuchi's hell. Hey, you wanna see his reaction of loss, don't you?
Takami said that it's really strange because Tokuchi has yet to give up a walk. He also said that because Mariners were hitting Tokuchi's pitch continously, Tokuchi shouldn't pitch easy ones. Well, of course Tokuchi already gave up 14 runs, but Mariners haven't the big trap below their feet.
17:34
Tokuchi asked for timeout so many times. Takami just noticed when Tomas said that the match shoulda ended long time ago, so Takami ran and just realized that there's warning: Heavy rainstorm warning. If the rain comes before fifth inning, the game will be cancelled. The later episode will tell.
Well, Takami noticed why Tokuchi lengthened the game, and now, Mariners only have one hour to finish the 3rd match, so the game isn't about scoring runs, but competing against that final hour.
So what does Tokuchi mean by saying that Mariners already fell to his hell? We'll see in the next episode.
