One Planet Strategy - Tutorial / Let's Play - Stellaris
One Planet Strategy in Stellaris takes advantage of a few gameplay mechanisms:
- technologies costs increases with population / number of planets
- traditions costs increases the same way
By playing with only one planet and using Frontier Outposts to gain territory and get minerals and other resources, you should be able to build a Science Nexus before a hundred years. Once you have it and you reach repeatable techs, your total scientific supremacy should ensure you an easy victory.
In this Tutorial / Let's Play of the One Planet Strategy in Stellaris, we'll look at:
- the correct setup to reach our goal
- the different technologies that are key to success
- the key buildings to build, to maximize unity and influence production
I've learned most of this strategy from two sources for which I am grateful:
- The One Planet Strategy steam guide from Legendary: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1169534715
- The original reddit thread from /u/CyberKey: https://www.reddit.com/r/Stellaris/comments/74xcfz/science_nexus_in_2273/
