Ugh...here we go. Sequel to Onimusha 1,we join a new protagonist this time,named Jubei Yagyu. Despite being defeated by Samanosuke in the 1st game,Nobunaga the Demon King has risen once more and creating chaos. Jubei has returned to his hometown of Yagyu Village only to find it completely destroyed,by demons. As Jubei tries to leave after hearing a strange voice,he finds one of the villagers,who is promptly killed by a demon. Take some time to get used to the controls and fighting again as you fight your way through the forest. When Jubei reaches a small pond,a path appears to a cave. Follow it and you'll find the source of the voice,some kind of lamia monster. She tells him Nobunaga was the one who destroyed Yagu Village,and that he's the only one who can stop him. We'll need to collect 5 Orbs first though,but she gives us the first,the Charity Orb. Jubei can now absorb the souls of monsters,just like Samanosuke. Head back to the pond outside the cave,and examine the dragon statue off to the side to get your 1st weapon,the Buraitou.
