How to open Google Chrome in safe mode. This tutorial, I show you how to open chrome in "safe mode". Unlike FireFox, Google Chrome does not have an official "Safe Mode." However, there is a way to safely open Chrome and debug any malicious extensions or apps.

To open Chrome browser in "Safe mode", simply open it is Incognito mode.

To create a Google Chrome Incognito desktop shotcut
1. Right click on a normal Google Chrome desktop shortcut
2. Select Properties
3. In properties find the field labeled Target
4. Add the following text to the end of the data in the Target field: -Incognito
