Follow the steps below to upgrade the firmware on your Garmin 230 / 235
1. From the watch face select the run button to access the activity screen
2. once in the activity screen, select the down button to enter the menu
3. in the menu, select Settings
4. In settings, select System
5. In System, select Software Upgrade
6. If a firmware upgrade is available, select the run button to begin the installation process
7. Your Garmin Forerunner 230 / 235 is now upgrade to the latest firmware.
