How To Turn On And Off Emergency Broadcast. In this tutorial, I show you how to turn off and on the emergency alerts on your android phone. Android Emergency Broadcast alerts are triggered for AMBER Alerts, as well as Weather and Local Civil alerts. Turning on and off the emergency alerts on your Android Samsung, Nexus, Moto, HTC, LG, Pixel, Blu is very easy!

Change the emergency broadcast settings on Android.

ANDROID 6.0 and below:
1. Go the Android settings
2. Select More under Wireless & Networks in the settings
3. Select Emergency broadcast
4. You can now turn on, turn off, or change the emergency broadcast settings on your Android phone or tablet.

ANDROID 7.0 and greater:
1. Go the Android settings
2. Select Sounds
3. Select Emergency broadcast
4. You can now turn on, turn off, or change the emergency broadcast settings on your Android phone or tablet.

In the Emergency Broadcast settings, you have access to change the following settings:
• Show extreme threats
• Show severe threats
• Show AMBER alerts
• Turn on notifications, Alert sound duration, Alert reminder, Vibrate, Speak alert message, Show ETWS test broadcast, Show CMAS test broadcasts, show opt-out dialog.
