Open letter from DEVs, Rouanet Law and the DARK SIDE of Gamescom (part 2)
Brazilian developers demand improvements to Gamescom Latam after problems!
After problems in the 2025 edition, which were reported in a report by Voxel, developers suggest improvements to the event, which receives tax incentives and support from the Rouanet Law.
A group of Brazilian developers published an open letter suggesting improvements to the Gamescom Latam event, including more security and support for speakers and creators from our country. The movement comes after complaints from game devs, shared in a Voxel report, about working conditions at the fair in 2025.
Gamescom Latam responds to open letter from developers: "Participation is optional" https://www.tecmundo.com.br/voxel/501495-gamescom-latam-responde-carta-aberta-de-desenvolvedores-participacao-e-opcional.htm
