OpenBoR games: Streets of Rage Zombies demo playthrough
55Suhmai (aka Antyguf) finally separated his OpenBoR hack into two games: Streets of Rage Russia and Streets of Rage Zombies. I am playing an another update of Streets of Rage Zombies.
First I'm gonna tell you about the information. The first zombie update appeared in day 2nd of October in 2014. It was a great surprise for those, who are still playing his OpenBoR hack.
One of the things, that make this OpenBoR hack original is gore. It makes a great climate of the zombie apocalypse in Wood Oak city. There is a lot of the modified SoR enemies not only in the sprites, but also in the coding. For example the Donovans with the chainsaws, the burning Goldies, etc.
We can see also the Streets of Rage versions of the zombies and monsters from Left 4 Dead series, Silent Hill series and Hellraiser.
This game is not easy at all. The first reason is the number of the enemies. The second reason is their AI. The third reason is the enemies with spikes, who just hit an opponent just by approaching. If such characters keep attacking you, it would be impossible for you to move.
