Following it's meteoric box office run throughout the holiday season of 1992, Aladdin soared it's way onto video the following Christmas to quickly dethrone Beauty and the Beast as the top selling VHS of all time, selling approximately 25 million copies, once more continuing the trend of Disney eclipsing their own sales year after year. It would be one of only a few Disney Classics to not be re-issued in the lineup due to the lineup's conclusion in the year 2000. Aladdin would return to the Disney Vault in early 1994.
