Walt Disney's last animated film (at least made under his supervision), The Jungle Book, swung it's way onto video in this timeline for the Summer of 1992. It was an immediate smash hit, selling over fifteen million copies and adding to the immense sales that Bambi and later Beauty and the Beast would have. Also like Bambi, the film would go into the Disney Vault for a brief amount of time until being re-released in 1997 for an anniversary release.
