OpenTTD is a free and open source train simulation game inspired by the 1995 classic Transport Tycoon Deluxe by Chris Sawyer. The project was started in 2004 by Ludvig Strigeus (creator of the μTorrent program) with the goal of making a FOSS reverse engineered reimplementation of Transport Tycoon Deluxe but grew into a greatly expanded remake with support for many features not present in the original game, like customizable AI, custom content packs and online multiplayer.

As part of the official FOSS content packs to play OpenTTD there is the OpenMSX music pack, a collection of GPL-v2 licensed MIDI music. The music in OpenMSX is composed by Ingo von Borstel, kamnet, Jim Redfarn, Tistou Blomberg, imuh3, mimm, Kyle Timmerman, Keep on Rolling and -lucas-.
