Optimus Was Supposed to Kill This Decepticon in Transformers 1? Something that was made apparent in the 1st live action Transformers film. Was that these Autobots were a lot more brutal than the 1s we were accustomed to. And that was especially the case for Optimus Prime. Which fans are still split on in regards to how merciless he can be. During his first action sequence we get a taste of his brutal nature when he decaptitates Bonecrusher. Which is the only Decepticon we see him slay. But apparently there was supposed to be more. In some earlier drafts of the script, Optimus Prime was supposed to kill Barricade as well. After making quick work of Bonecrusher the Decepticon law enforcer would launch at Optimus. Only to be caught by the Autobot leader and slammed down, causing his head to separate from his body. However the scene never made it into the final movie, and Barricade simply disappears with no explanation after Bonecrusher transforms.
