The Combiner That Was Cut from Transformers Rise of the Beasts. Known as the ferocious persuers, theScorponok drones were the first antagonists fans laid eyes on in Rise of the Beasts. hey also have a Decepticon counterpart out and about with the same name. Even though they were easy to dismantle their outstanding numbers allowed them to overwhelm their victoms. Its also nice to point out that it was the first time we'd see Scorponok and the Beast cast share the big screen. Speaking of big we could've seen something big in regards this character. During production, the Scorponok drones initially had a troll-like robot mode, and dozens of them would have merged into a massive Scorponok combiner that towered over the Autobots and Maximals in the final battle. Which would've been a callback to his gigantic size in Generation 1. Although their 3D animation models were made, this function was ultimately cut out.
