I don't remember how I was able to do that room on repeat playthroughs to be honest. Today on Mega Man X8, we make a lot of progress in comparison to last episode, since I have a good idea of what I'm doing this time around. I manage to take care of the rest of the mavericks. We also go back to some stages a few times to get everything, one of the reasons I love this game. The backtracking can sometimes be to its detriment, but hey, I never said this game was perfect.
