Orbiter 2010 - Learn With Me #5 (Part 2) - Phobos (Hall base) to Mars [FAIL]

In this video, I am trying to work out the timing so that I can come down from Phobos and already be lined up with Olympus base, and have Olympus base just far enough in front of me that I can perform a hard atmospheric braking maneuver and land immediately without having to spend any more time than is absolutely necessary gliding through the Martian atmosphere.
In this attempt, I got the base alignment worked out (which was an improvement over the last attempt), but I arrived with the Olympus base several thousand kilometers in front of me which meant that I had to glide a lot longer than I wanted to.

Obviously this is not a tutorial. This is just me doing things and thinking out loud while doing it. If you're watching with the intent of learning something, then hopefully you can pick up some tips by watching me.

Common questions I get: What screen recording software do you use? What joystick do you use? What add-ons do you use? Where can I find the XR2 Ravenstar? Where do I download Orbiter? And much, much more. It's all answered in the FAQ I set up at this link (the link is a google document):
