Orbus VR Player Housing and Ranger Nerfs (Closed Alpha 1) - VR Gameplay HTC Vive
Orbus Closed Alpha 1 is here! We get our first look at character creation along with some much needed balancing.
Before getting into the Ranger nerfs/balances we get to see the first iteration of player housing as well as the new player compass.
Player housing is pretty barren at the moment but I like the idea. I'd love to see a FF XI type system where your decorations actually have an impact on your stats somehow so that it's more than just a pretty spot to hang out.
The player compass I found to be in the way where it sits. It somewhat blocked my LOS to my fire arrow. It's not major but some body positions might need to be rethought out.
The Ranger. No more flick shotting for you! He got hit with the nerf bat but he sorely needed it. You now have to fully draw back your bow string to get full damage. Even so, you can still rapid fire, it just takes more real life stamina.
All in all, it seemed to be a good balance patch. Though the nerf bat never feels good. I'm sorry future Ranger mains...
