To compare with the continuousarc ignition system of the J47, we look inside the combustor of an Orenda 14 to view the ignitor plug when we energize the ignition system.
The J47 powered the F86 Saber, built in California by North American Aviation.
The Orenda 14 powered the Sabre 6, a licensed copy of the F86, built in Ontario, Canada by Canadair.
