I was doing a playthrough where I was just looking for skips, and I found this. I'm pretty sure you can completely skip Charge Flame. You might want to swing back around for it after getting stomp though, since you can stomp the right side of the barriers that you would usually need to use Charge Flame for. This also lets you skip the cutscene at the save point in front of the giant tree, but you have to pass by there a few times, so it might not be worth it after all.
