First run ever done after just about a week of learning the run, 1:26:32 RTA!

This was played using a Wacom Pen and Tablet (MobileStudio Pro 13) + Keyboard for controls. I was using a Bluetooth Keyboard and it actually died around Sorrow Pass so I had to quickly plug it in ^^;

Quick Notes on this run. On looking back at the footage, it seems pretty choppy. This was streamed live to twitch and being recorded locally, while being ran all on the same machine. I think it might have been a bit much for the tablet to handle. Really hope that doesnt mean this isnt accepted, though I understand if its not :c

As for something that might actually DQ me, I did accidentally pause the timer around getting Charge Jump ^^;; To explain myself at least, I was confused about my splits, as looking at them I thought it had missed one or skipped ahead, as when I made my splits, the Sunstone and Charge Jump splits were swapped (not in the auto splitter though, thank goodness, so the time was still ok)
In doing so i tried to undo my Charge Jump split, as I was worried that it was going to split ahead of time at getting Sunstone, and thus potentially cause issues where it could split and end the run earlier than intended later on. I didnt realize you cant undo a split because its an auto split, but paused the timer, and myself, literally just to see. I have no problem retiming the run from start to finish to at least get a perfectly accurate time, however all things considered I really hope this doesnt cause any problems. As of writing this I dont know where I would stand on the leaderboards, if I do at all, so idk if it actually matters.

Now as for the run... Pretty standard up until Sorrow Bash. I do a lot of safety strats as I just wanted to get through the run and wasn't expecting a good time anyways. but that's when it happened. Within just a few tries, Sorrow Bash was complete, and I was onto the rest of the run with an hour of timesave compared to the unrecorded and untimed run from just the other day. I was trembling. My hand grasped the pen to continue on, though inside I this was it. This was the run. Teh urn, as legends say. And so I kept my resolve and moved Ori through the trials that are Sorrow Pass. And thus, it was done. Ahead of me, I knew nothing could stop this pace.

Next came Misty Woods. I got the rocket jump down towards it that i never practiced as I had always forgot, but this was the run, and so it had happened without my poor newbie mind able to comprehend what was happening. A few mishaps in Misty, and played safe yet again, though no different than from my practice.

We then went on to pick up the final ability, and This was when I checked my time. And onward to Horu we went, slipping my a laser expertly on our way out.

I open the gates to the great volcano. The gates to a Personal Best. The gates, to which I did not realize would be. S U B 1 : 3 0

And with a door warp on first try into a near PERFECT escape, it was done. As I held right to walk Naru to Ori, I expressed my joy with victory signs and sticky notes. An Ori, with a victory pose, with the words "First Run!" beside him and Sein. A quick summary of the highlights of the run. And a thank you to everyone who watched, and was able to bear through the stuttering video till the end.
