Encountered a glitch that sent me falling through the terrain and the annoying bug that happens at the end where I cant unpause it after the game forcefully pauses it, repeatedly most of the time.

The camera can suck it in this game and so can the wall grab. Foreground blocks attacks and causes cheap hits, even if that wasn't the case, the lightshow that usually occurs blinds the fuck out of everything also causing cheap hits.

Cheesy layouts for alot of instant death's and just odd areas to put certain setups, for example, you have to dash off two lanterns to get a shard piece with two ground spitters nearby. If you fall, its just spikes with no way to get back up. You made lazy instadeath spikes, why not use them here? No real clarity of what most spike type traps do. Can go from 2 damage in one area to instadeath in the next. Only way to find out is trial and area.

The narrative isn't really all that good either.

Spoilereno:

Towards the very end of the game, multiple things happen that don't make any sense. I think her name is Naru, well, she goes into the area after you. One, you don't see her despite this happening after the first area is cleared. Two, the area is blocked off behind her.

The area is still filled with lava by the way, so its not like she sneaked off ahead or something, nor does it show her ever being able to do anything really agile. So you clear it, do the instadeath montage area and get to the very end.

She's just there. How the fuck she get there, eh. Who cares, friendship and magic, love saves the day. The Tree did it.
Then, the only real reason the day gets saved, the bird, who apparently had no idea what the tree did in the first place apparently, see's them embrace and then kills herself.

This tree killed her kids, but because of this one act of holding, with no idea what this will do, she just puts it back in the tree. It would have honestly made more sense if that scene happened, then the owl left to save her young. Then you see them get to the tree and put it back themselves. Both live, it makes way more sense, considering the motivations, and lets them live peacefully maybe since its a misunderstanding. Or the owl goes crazy again, doctor prescribes hugs to calm this down if it happens.

Besides that, its a overall well made platformer. Be nice if that camera would focus better on important things.
