Original Mini Composition - Theme of a Tiny Frog
9This release is the beginning of a new series I'd like to start that I'm tenatively calling 'Mini Compositions', which I am hoping will provide me a way to release music more often. Music in this series will be less refined, potentially more experimental, and take less overall work for me to make than my 'main' releases.
My hope with starting this new series is that it will help me overcome some of the burnout I've been feeling recently, which is largely caused by me putting a lot of effort into my main releases (not only in creating and refining the music to a point I feel satisfied with, but also in creating a background/video to that standard and editing everything together) that I then feel is the baseline quality I need to meet for every release, which makes me feel stressed because I know how much work I need to to put into whatever I'm working on before I feel happy enough with it to release it, and leads to me not wanting to work on music as much as a result.
So, this series will mostly consist of music (and potentially covers?) I've made that I would like to release, but don't want to burn myself out on doing so. That means releases in this series will generally all have the same background with minimal editing, have much shorter descriptions, and the music itself may not be as well refined as my 'main' releases.
The main thing I'd like to emphasise with this series is it will largely consist of music, covers and concepts that are the result of me just having fun seeing what I can come up with, and I don't hold the tracks I release in this series to the same standard as my other releases. So please don't expect music in this series to be my best work, because often they'll be more like sketches and unfinished work-in-progress-es.
So to make it clear, yes, Rob, I know the music in this series isnt well mixed and has repetitive sections and is badly titled and doesn't have enough frogs and is too lon...huh? I said I'd write much shorter descriptions but I'm already on the fifth paragraph? And I haven't even discussed the music I'm releasing yet??
