This is a song I've been working on for a long time now - technically around 8 months, though most of that time was spent working on it only occasionally. It's been mostly finished for a while in fact, I just needed to convince myself to make the song loop more naturally, which I managed to do today - so here it is.

I like how this turned out, though how much I like it would depend on my mood when you ask me - I was very inspired when I first started making it, but as I started working on other projects this kept getting pushed back.
That said, I have another cover of a song from Undertale that I'm currently working on which I hope to release soon as well, so I decided that since I want to release this at some point anyway, now makes the most sense to do so.

The only thing I dislike is that I don't feel like I managed to come up with a good place for where this song would fit - I envisioned it as multiple different things when making it, the initial idea being just to 'make a song using Undertale's soundfont', but I wasn't really inspired by any one thing, and so as a result it's mostly detached from having any story or character relevance. But since the main theme is adjacent to/quotes Don't Forget, and there are a few references to Another Medium in there as well, I decided ultimately to try to combine the two ideas and turn it into a boss theme, of sorts, since that's the best idea I can come up with. I like the idea of there being a color based boss somewhere in the next chapter, so I tried to theme the video and name around that retroactively.

As a result, I don't really know how well the music fits the concept, but I hope it works. The video is also pretty hastily made, because I only decided to release this today and didn't want to spend too much time overthinking details I don't have a clear vision for.

That said, outside of the narrative I am still pretty happy with how this turned out, so I hope you like it!
