How do you show your appreciation of old Shaw Brothers movies without totally replicating a Shaw Brothers movie?
By having James Stokoe make a comic in homage to them, pretty much. There's definitely shades of the 5 Deadly Venoms seeping through the inks here, and I am all for it.
Saddest thing is this book is too short and not big enough. Stokoe's art deserves MUCH BIGGER PAGES! Like, seriously, the amount of detail this dude pours into his pencils is mind boggling at times.
