I mean, it does make sense to continue to figure out who is doing what, but it also feels like it should be over already.
Guess it sort of is nice it doesn't end too quickly, but eh, IDK. It's a slight bit tedious at this point for me. They introduced a Mr. Robot type character though, and found the identity of another red herring at least. Probably a fair bit more to go, but can't tell exactly how much more.
It's like, if this Nina character is the real-real bad guy, then fine that's good; but my bet is it's probably like yet another Operation Northwoods -- an invented crisis, meant to gather more power and wealth for the glorious state basically. But, who knows?
They'll probably have a convenient target to blame, which is the goal of the game. -_- It's why Symes doesn't like datachunks that paint targets in a good light, only things that sound bad are treated as "good".
It's like in Law Abiding Citizen, "truth doesn't matter, only what you can prove in court" or more so just building "cases" and presenting them in a way that resonates with bored customer minded idiots and pretending some random decision made by fallible humans has any epistemological value whatsoever. -_-
Good liars make lies sound good, while those honestly blunt may be easily demonized and treated as criminals by fake smiling sociopaths in power. -_-
