Welcome back Everybody! To Let's play Osiris: New Dawn - gameplay – part 7. With the new update in Osiris New Dawn we can build the first defensive buildings! The first one we can use to protect our base is the Ground turret! With this device we can put a basic type of defence to protect our base from the Aliens! As they come with each night depending on the setting you set on Osiris New Dawn. But they will come in the end the Alien Arachnoids that can jump above us but with the turrets we can have more firepower in the base! We can also use the turrets in Osiris New Dawn to expand our mining operations around our perfect base, with them protecting the robot assistant from worms and other Aliens! With the right defence we can also try to expand our already standing base! With a barracks – since the last update in Osiris New Dawn the resources may become a problem as they now spawn on the larger chunks of random materials instead of pure minerals. So in the end from the basic material deposit we can gain magnesium, iron and aluminium and from the precious material deposit we can gain different more advance materials for our base in Osiris New Dawn. The Ground turret defence system have already a test in todays episode of Osiris New Dawn as a wild Jaculus decided to attack our base! The turret along was able to keep it at bay but it lacked the fire power to be an effective way to defeat an Alien. TO make the proper defence in Osiris New Dawn
We will need more turrets – to make turrets we need the basic materials but the biggest problem may come from gathering Lithium as the material is rare but once found in Osiris New Dawn comes in large quantities! The other materials include steel, titanium Circuit board and Battery. The good news is we don’t need for the turret the most rare materials but we may need a few common ones and one or two rare. In the end if You plan to build a large good defence in Your base in Osiris New Dawn You may need to make more then just one turret So keep in mind while gathering materials to take more and use the robot assis-tant if You have to. After building up a proper defence in Osiris New Dawn its time for ex-ploring the diamond cave! The Dimond cave is nearby the new best place for a base I have build In the previous episode of Osiris New Dawn – but then the cave itself is a challenge! Do not even try to go there without a good strong weapon or some ally with You! You can’t take the robot assistant in to the caves as he will get stuck as soon as that is possible. The Aliens that swarm the cave system in Osiris New Dawn are the most strong ones You will find and they will come in large numbers. The arachnoids, crab monsters and many more. If You plan just to explore in Osiris New Dawn You may want to turn of the Aliens just to get the dia-monds. The Dimond themselves are located in the deepest area in the cave system of Osiris New Dawn. To find the diamonds You need to deep with the tunnel and before the first cave opening turn left. After a short walk stick to the right side of the wall and You should see another tunnel going in to another cave. Inside said Cave You will find one of the most rare resources of Osiris New Dawn – Dimonds!
