4undtSlowly we are moving underground to our new bunker base. But we need to make a storage for our food. A freezer would be a great idea. But as we are on a extreme desert biome the high temperature and heatwaves will hit soon!

Welcome everybody! To Let's play Rimworld, part 9! With the new cave system in place, we have mined out a new meeting room for the enclave soldiers, aswell as a battery room, work-shop to make bricks for constructing the walls of the future Enclaev base in Rimworld – and we lack that much steel to make very wall out of steel like a proper enclave base of Fallout. We are setting the first decencies room inside the underground base in Rimworld. The de-fences after this point in the game where we actually start to develop a well suited base will come more important then they used to be at the beginning from the previous episodes of Rimworld enclave. We also need to worry about food since the very first episode of RimWorld with the enclave we are running low on the food provisions we started with. We need to make a kitchen but more important we need to make a freezer. The extreme desert will make a heavy hit on our food supply if we wont make sure those are placed in the right place under a roof and with a cold room to not to root and spoil. Also we need to set one of the soldiers from the enclave to be the cooker as we will need a steady supply of food for our enclave base. The only food we can get on the extremer desert in RimWorld is potatoes. As the gravel will hardly allow us to throw anything else on this ground. At some point we also get one of the very first raids and one of the runners from they pirates asked for help to defend him. You need to keep in mind that helping people running away from slave runners in RimWorld will hide in your base but the chase party will lay siege on your base. But those are not the true challenge for the enclave base of Bunker Hill, they don’t have the right weapons or armor to stand our fire power of technology. Easily takeing out this easy party will earn us a few prisoners for future selling in to a pirate ship that may at some point appear in RimWorld. Also that means our squad doctor will have the possibility to train a little bit his medical skill so he will be more skilled if one of the enclave soldiers will get hurt and will need medical attention. We don’t have the possibility yet to make a proper hospital in the underground base. With the prisoners in place we need to finish our freeze. Remember the freezer needs to have proper walls, a cooler to keep the tempeture down – and if You play on the extreme desert also we need to make sure to make the freezer ready before the heat waves start to hit. This will also help us defend ourselves from the hit waves, underground base may be a bit harder to cold down but if you have a small opening in the middle of the mountain it will be possible to throw the temperature out from the small hole and it make easier for the whole base to be more habitat for the soldiers of the enclave in RimWorld. Also we get attacked by a Thrumbo. Thoes monsters are friendly and will eat only plants but on a extreme desert it means they may try to eat our potatoes and we need to have as much food as that is possible at the beginning of the colony in RimWorld. So takeing down the Thrumbos may be a problem but not for the enclave soldiers as the firepower we have is strong enough to take down a tank!
