Welcome! To Let's play Kingdom - gameplay – part 1. First impression! The Name of the game may sound similar to the Kingdom or Kingdom New lands but let it not fool You! This Kingdom is a completely different game. Its more of a mix of total war and Stronghold in a way. In kingdom Demo You can command armies in attacking an enemy castle, takeing part in defending Your own castle or fight in a open field! For the moment in Kingdom You can use in total three types of units and three types of siege units.
For units we have the Archer, the Knight and the Horseman. At the beginning of Kingdom I though the game works on the game mechanic of Rock, scissors and paper but this may not be the case as in the end the best unit are the Horseman who are hard to counter. The siege units on the other hand are You can to control directly which is a nice change comparing Kingdom to T.A.B.S where You can only watch the fight from the side. In Kingdom the siege weapons and the power of a catapult, trebuchet or a ballista can sometimes be a win or lose in a battle! The trebuchet have a longer range then the Catapult but then takes a longer time to fire. The Balista in Kingdom is a weapon of shorter range but with good reloading speed. So in the end each player of Kingdom can pick a different machine for his own game style! Right now there is only attack, defend and battle missions in Kingdom. But as the game is still in demo version soon there may be added more types of gameplay.
The sieges are the most fun right now as You start the fight in Kingdom the first line of battle is taken to the units You pick before the battle however after the battle starts You can set a spawning unit from a nearby camp of Your own army. Then is the siege machine matter and how You fire them but also the overpowered strength of the Horseman may also be a key el-ement in wining the battle in Kingdom.

Kingdom is a strategy medieval battle simulation game with the goal of seizing control of more territory. The demo consists of a small battle to breach a castle using your battering ram and catapults. The completed game will feature a world of castles to seige and your own Kingdom to build along with various upgrades, new machines and unit types.
