"Our Own Worst Enemy" Quest || New World (No Commentary)
0For today's New World quest we head on over to Mountainhome to speak with the NPC called Eintou Madaki and the quest we get to do for today is called Our Own Worst Enemy which in my opinion was a super hard quest to do and if you want to do this quest it is highly recommended to take some other players with you even if you are level because of the enemies you will have to fight and the amount of enemies you have to fight. The type of enemies you have to face off for today is all level 60 or higher and the come in gangs so for you to do this quest alone is super hard and near impossible. The quest requires you to travel to 5 Forts which are all under Corruption control and what you have to do there is to find Heartgems which basically means you have to defeat some of the Corrupted enemies and collect the stuff they drop but you also have to look for a letter at each of these forts. Now the first 3 Forts was not to bad to do alone and it will be possible for you to do alone as well but when you get by the final 2 Forts that is when things get near impossible because it is small Forts and if you shoot or attack just 1 enemy in the Fort then all the enemies will come for you because of them being so close they all get agroed and chase after you so yeah that is a real bad situation when you have about 10 level 60 Corrupted enemies chasing you, in my experience you will for sure not be able to defeat 10 level 60 enemies at once on your own so if you have friends that play with you I would highly recommend you taking your friends with you. There is another way of doing this mission though and it is more of a cowardly way but it worked for me. So if you don't have anyone to help you out the way you can do this alone is basically just run in the Fort straight towards the letters which will usually be at the back of the Forts so do not fight the enemies in the Fort just run to the letter and possibly die but still get the letter then you go back again and take out the enemies that are outside of the Forts so that it is just about 2 enemies at once on you and that you should be able to destroy so that you can get the Heartgems, in my experience I died all the times I just ran in to read the letter but I am honestly fine with it that was the only way I could have completed the quest so if you also don't have another option you can follow in my foot steps just to complete the quest to move on to bigger and better things in Aeternum.
