Outrun Online Arcade and Outrun 2 SPDX are arguably the two best looking versions of the games falling under the Outrun 2 umbrella so far. But how do they stack up next to each other? Outrun 2 SPDX ran on the Sega Lindbergh arcade board and here is running on my PC in the most recent version of Teknoparrot (1.94). Outrun Online Arcade is running on my PS3.

I honestly didn't think there'd be much difference, but it looks like Outrun Online Arcade has actually got some sort of extra saturation effect going on, you can really notice on the Ice Scape stage that the sky looks quite different in each version and also on the Milky Way one too. Interesting...

I'm going to put together some comparisons between SPDX and the PC version of Coast 2 Coast in the next few days...
