I have an issue with Outrunners, whereby it is impossible to steer the car. The car either goes left or right, but there is no centre position making it impossible to play.

I am using a spinner as the controller, although the exact same thing happens if I change the control to a joystick. I have seen other people using a spinner with this game and it works perfectly fine so there clearly is a resolution to the problem. If anyone knows how I solve this problem, please let me know in the comments.
