Step-by-step guide on how to overclock the Radeon RX 7800 XT.
1) Set the Power Limit to -10%
2) Set Max Frequency to 2000Mhz
3) Enable Fast Timing for the VRAM; try to find max stable frequency ~2600Mhz for Hynix VRAM
4) Start raising core clock by 100Mhz increments (video example maxed out around 2700Mhz)
5) Once the benchmark scores stop increasing, start raising the Power Limit by 5% increments
6) Once max clock at 15% power limit increase is reached start lowering the voltage in -25mV decrements while staying near TBP; eventually the benchmarks won't increase, could decrease and stay below the TBP; at that point stay with the previous max stable settings for the highest score as that's the max overclock

Overclocking the GPU is an attempt to extract more performance while making optimal use of the power. Individual results will vary by card.
