The first of only two Battle Arenas, that is, because less than a day prior to its release, an announcement that the English version of Overlord: MASS FOR THE DEAD will be shutdown after 31 March 2021 7:00 UTC was broadcasted. There are volumes that could be written about this, which perhaps will be saved for another video...
Anyway...
The difficulty of this Quest is approximate to past Event Undead Missions. While Battle Arenas are advertised as "...an event to challenge extremely powerful enemies," and that is mostly true, the enemies this time around are not the hardest hitting, but rather boast high HP and SPD stats. For example, Sukyu [Small Fang Tribal Chief] in Wave 1 has over 500 SPD, while the other two Lizardmen and hydra in Wave 1 have around 450 SPD, or more. To balance this out, the Lizardmen (not Rororo [Hydra]) share elemental weaknesses to Dark, Fire, Water, and Wind.
A simple yet reliable Party member composition should include at least one SPD Attacker(s), and/or PWR. PWR Characters such as CZ [Assault Santa], Momonga [Masked Magic Caster], and Yuri [Battle Maids' Sister] will compete reliably in Wave 1 but struggle in Wave 2; whereas SPD Attackers will perform magnificently in Wave 2. Demiurge [Half-demon Form] is the obvious choice due to his powerful but costly Crushing Gravity skill obliterating the TEC Type Lizardmen, but others such as Aura [Count Costume], Griffith [Hawk of Light], and even Enhancer CZ [Swimsuit Pleiades] will suffice. Healer choice is flexible, although Clementine [Saint of the Apocalypse]'s low SPD and Lupusregina [Swimsuit Pleiades]'s Type are less than ideal.
Parties focused on powerful, multi-target/Area-of-Effect (AoE) skills are potentially viable here as well; however, it is likely by Wave 2 that those Characters will be low on MP, and struggle to out-damage Crush [White-scaled Beauty]'s healing. Truthfully, a Party that utilizes a mixture of single-target and AoE skills ought to perform well here.
