Overlord: MASS FOR THE DEAD - Lizards in a Blizzard [Undead] Solo
27First there was a Frog in a Blender; now, there are Lizards in a Blizzard.
Simply stated, this Undead Mission is exceptionally difficult without top-tier Characters. Assemble as powerful of a Party as possible for this Mission, because the enemies are absurdly fast (500+ SPD), use skills that inflict annoying statuses such as Stun and Sleep, and are also more than capable of outright one-shotting any Character. The enemies have a common weakness to the Lightning element, and all but two to Fire, as well. Using Crowd Control (CC) such as Paralysis and Sleep are viable combat options because CC greatly mitigates the enormous amounts of inbound damage your Party receives per Turn. Sebas [Samurai] or Entoma [Swimsuit Pleiades] can be considered here, as could Jaldabaoth [Aggressive Grand Demon] or Demiurge [Mad Doctor]. Enhancers possessing skills which both strengthen your Party and weaken the enemies ought to be strongly considered as well; including Albedo [Pure White Santa], Entoma [Bug Love Maid] or Entoma [Swimsuit Pleiades], and even Momonga [Bleached-Bone Hunk]. Narberal [Electro Santa] is an obvious Attacker choice due to her Lightning element skills and Type; or alternatively, Narberal [Swimsuit Pleiades]. Clementine [Ex-Black Scripture 9th]'s high ATK, high SPD, and dual element coverage makes her a premium Attacker for this Undead, too.
Chaos Relic selection will be dependent on Party member composition, but consider favoring Relics that boost multiple (or all) attributes. For example, a Relic that grants large boosts to HP and SPD will not yield anything substantial if its Character cannot produce much damage; just as a Relic that exclusively boosts ATK will not help them survive the onslaught, either.
Unlike the most recent Event Undead Missions, multi-target/Area-of-Effect (AoE) skills are useful, particularly in Waves 2 and 3. However, the Frozen Giant in Wave 1 has an enormous HP pool, so single-target skills are still needed. The Frozen Giant appears highly susceptible to Paralysis, so consider taking advantage of this in order to build your Party's Overdrives and buff accordingly in order to transition into Wave 2 as healed and as buffed as possible. Wave 2's Lupusregina [Smiling Santa] is relatively slow, but she hits quite hard and is not to be underestimated. Meanwhile, CZ [Assault Santa] is extremely dangerous as even with Type disadvantage, her Crossfire skill can easily one-shot any Character. Entoma [Entomancer Santa] is not inherently dangerous by herself, but her early-casted Christmas Card skill makes CZ and Lupusregina even more deadly.
Wave 3 features Aura [Dark Elf Santa], Momonga [Overlord], and Mare [Dark Elf Santa]. Aura is a high SPD, single-target nuker whose role is similar CZ's from the previous Wave. Momonga favors his Negative Burst AoE, both before and after using his Mass Technique Boost + buff, as well as using his basic attack periodically. Note that Momonga is immune to all forms of CC. Lastly, Mare does not appear to attack at all, and instead exclusively casts healing skills. The range of these healing skills is from about 12,000 to 19,000 in HP per Turn, which can out-heal a Party low on MP.
Expect several infuriating attempts at this Undead Mission, and/or "resets" if you should so choose.
