[Overwatch 2 S8] Ramattra Will Protect You! ...For Now
1I really have been enjoying Ramattra as a tank. I feel like he is quite balanced, where he has a good tool kit for general defense of himself and others. He also is pretty decently effective at longer ranges, while still maintaining a good close-range damage burst that pierces shields. His ult is decently powerful and is good to pull out and surprise the enemy with, especially when they are very close and bunched up. I feel like Ramattra doesnt have any glaring weaknesses, unlike many other characters.
This was a very interesting game, it felt like pretty much everyone was at least somewhat skilled, so it was often a brawl that would last quite a while. The Roadhog could only very rarely get a hook onto trap combo since both the Soldier and I would immediately shoot any trap he threw out, but he was very hard to knock out since he continually healed and his healers were mostly on point. The enemy widow was being shut down heavily by our other DPS, while I tried to pressure them so they would stay out of good sniping positions if I noticed them. I did notice that they whiffed their shots at me pretty often though. After looking through the replay, I would consider our team to be noticeably better than the enemy, since we often clashed in a back and forth on the cart, but it usually took an ult storm to kick us back. The attacking team has the advantage at the cart, as the cart is both cover, and it very slowly heals the attackers that are touching it.
