Overwatch: PC Gameplay #246 (PTR No Limits - When BOBs Do Something)
0After recording all of her unlockable voice lines in every language, I went straight to trying out Ashe herself. I just winged it and went straight to No Limits for her instead of playing Musical Chairs again in Quick Play.
I can see some influence of McCree, Widowmaker, and Junkrat in her gameplay. High precision shots like McCree, a high-damage scope shot like Widowmaker, and explosives like Junkrat. Unlike Junkrat's mines, though, you have to aim and blow up Ashe's dynamite yourself. If the enemy gets caught in it, they'll be burned with damage over time on top of the huge damage the dynamite did. You don't want to be be anyone like a Tracer without her Recall nor a healer with her against this.
She also has a shotgun that actually helps her get a backwards boost. Either a short backdash, or maybe even a high jump.

But... let's face it, the most interesting thing about using Ashe is her Ultimate, where she calls in B.O.B. to... DO SOMETHING!
What BOB does is run in a straight line like much like Reinhardt's Charge but without the pin. He hit a wall, he'll start shooting at enemies like Torb's turret.
B.O.B. is a really cleverly-made Ultimate, because he's like bringing out a 7th player out for your team! He can be killed for the time he's out. He can hold the Payload or an objective point. He count toward's Hammond/Wrecking Ball's Shields. Ana can put him to sleep. Sombra can hack him! Etc., etc., etc. If you wave Hello at him while he's not shooting, he'll actually wave back! Such a friendly guy despite technically being a villain!
Dealing with a lot of BOBS all at once can be pretty oppressive, but remember that this is No Limits I'm playing, so that means that both sides can potentially double their units, causing a match to have no less than 12 players for a moment!
Ashe's meant to be kinda tough to use, and since I still always use a controller to play this game, I'm kinda at a disadvantage, especially when it comes to blowing up her dynamite from a far distance rather than shooting it the moment I toss it.
Oh well, I try with her, and at one point, I get a little bit TOO good with her. Enjoy the cowgirl gameplay!
