Continuing the plight of these poor ravenously hungry dupes in this frozen hell, so cold that their tears of despair freeze into a rain of ice crystals. With some basic technologies researched the focus is now on food production, there are essentially five options which can be quickly scaled up: Mush Bar, Mealwood, Bristle Blossom, Mushroom or Hatches (eating omelette). Mealwood is honestly terrible when the dirt is so cold, Hatches are tricky because they freeze to death so I'd have to dig up some breeding stock. Mushrooms have the lowest tech and heating requirement so will be the first food (other than Mush Bar) pursued. Sadly waterweed is impossible on 100 K (because brine can't be turned into salt water) so there's no morale upgrade path for Fried Mushroom to Mushroom Wrap, but it still fills bellies.

One of the tricky things about Mushrooms is that the -170 C Slime will freeze water into ice if I try to store it in a submerged storage, and it'll then outgas. Later on I'll be able to make hot water to safely store the Slime in. Anyway, just mentioning that because I might seem stupid for not storing the Slime under water. Instead I'm just consolidating it, because a big lump of debris outgases slower than many small lumps.
