Hey guys, in this video I am showing how to run your steam turbines for maximum efficiency. Conclusion:
- try to keep the steam at 200 degrees celsius
- if the steam drops further in temperature, this will lead to a loss of power production. This situation could be ok, if you dont depend on the power (you dont waste energy in this case cause the heat transfer rate will also drop).
- if the steam heats above 200 degrees, you will need additional cooling for your steam turbines. The energy you use for the additional cooling loops will make the system drop in efficiency. I will show methods to achieve that temperature regulation shorty.
